I believe I finally read a poem by Rimbaud. It was featured in a comic book I read... I forgot which poem, mainly because my friend has the book at the moment...

The comic book is called: "The Crow". It's about a man brought back from the dead to avenge his slaying and that of his fiancee. The poems used are: Ordinary Nocturne and Being Beauteous. I really liked Ordinary Nocturne.

Ironically enough, I have a song in Romanian stuck in my head. "Maiastra" by Magica. You know what, I blame you for my new-found interest in your native tongue. (Damn, only two schools in this entire country offer Romanian; and they're both too far away...)

"The crow"? Like in the movie "The crow"? Wow! That's awesome!!! Didn't know it was a comic (well, i haven't watched the movies yet because of lack of patience, but i'll certainly read the comic, if i find it)

Oh, i never heard of that band before :o that's because goth metal isn't too popular here; well, at least where i live The song is nice:thumbsup:! But my favorite Romanian music is folk and some old songs before '89. I shall try someday to make a list here with all my favorite songs.

Yes, as in the Brandon Lee blockbuster; which literally killed Lee (may he rest in peace). Yeah, it was a comic book published in '89. It's probably oddly translated, translators over here butcher everything.

hmmm... I kinda forgot too. I haven't reread volume 3 of the Crow yet. Really? Hm. I kinda expected people not to hear of them; they're still a little obscure, but they have started to gain international fame. Interesting... I'll have to look up some; I was reading up on culture yesterday, so I guess tonight I can learn about Romanian music.
Nah, you're not ignorant. Not many countries force their students to study the government, unless you're in China or North Korea... It's basically a history and in-depth course on how America is run. It's dull.
Indeed you are. I started talking to you and now -- Bam! I desperately want to learn Romanian and visit the country; namely Brasov, Sibiu, Tirgovista, and Bucharest. Those are the ones on the top of my head, at least. ^^ You're welcome. You've been teaching me a lot, so I'm very thankful. What if I move to Romania after college? Well with writing, I can fix my character's accent and her speech paterns, as well as customs; Noroi is Romanian, you know. (Just in case you forgot: Noh-roh-ee, not Noh-roy.) XD
